Ana Claudia Macedo Pires was born in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil and cannot remember a time when she did not want to be big and muscular. At 14 she saw a bodybuilding magazine and realized that her dreams could become a reality, and from there quit ballet and joined a gym. Ana Claudia has been lifting weights for over 20 years and in that time she has won the Rio de Janeiro title 11 times, the Brazilian title 5 times and the South American title twice. It is therefore obvious to see that she is the most dominant Brazilian heavyweight in the past decade.
