Sylvia Reyss grew up in the suburbs of Cologne, Germany and went to an all sporting-boarding school for gifted children to hone her early athletic talent. Sylvia went on to study Sport with a minor in English at University and worked as an aerobics instructor, trainer, and fitness model.
She later stumbled upon a picture of an American Figure Athlete and instantly knew she had found her calling. She was mesmerized by the grace, beauty, sheer power, and discipline and decided to take a similar path an become a figure athlete.
The transition was an easy one for Sylvia, she joined the German Federation of Bodybuilding Club NAC and hasn't looked back since.
