Kim Birtch first entered a gym with the intentions of getting in shape and getting toned. She then met IFFB pro Rhonda Quaresma who started to train her and taught her everything she knows. She entered her first contest in 2000, Eastern Ontario in Kingston and placed 2nd. She fell in love with competitive bodybuilding as soon as she stepped on stage and hasn't looked back.
